Anonymous and eponymous reviewing
The default policy for external reviewers is double-blind review. If you are an external reviewer and you think you know who authored the article, please refer to guideline 4 of the Reviewer's guidelines. If you would like to make your review eponymous, please refer to guideline 3. NB: in the latter case, please always consider carefully the potential power differential between yourself and the author(s).
For the Handling Editorial Team, the identity of the author(s) is known. Therefore the additional reviews written by individual team members are signed. Similarly, the editorial decision is signed by all the members of the Handling Editorial Team. Thus the process between the editors and the authors is doubly-open.
