Privacy Statement

The names, email addresses, and other personal information entered on this journal's site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of Glossa Contact and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.

Personal information submitted by authors, reviewers, and editors in the course of using this site is retained only for as long as it is needed to carry out the journal's editorial and publishing functions. We collect names, affiliations, and email addresses in order to manage the submission, peer-review, and publication process, and to allow registered users (authors, reviewers, editors) to access their own account.

Published articles and their accompanying metadata are made openly accessible once an issue appears, in keeping with the journal's open-access policy; the personal details of authors (name and affiliation) are published as part of that metadata so that the work can be properly attributed and so that readers can identify and cite the authors.

Where necessary to carry out these functions, limited information is shared with third-party services the journal relies on: article metadata and DOIs are registered with mEDRA, our DOI registration agency; outgoing editorial email is sent through Brevo, our transactional email provider. These services act only on the journal's instructions and do not use the data for their own purposes.

We do not sell, rent, or otherwise disclose personal information to any other third party, and we do not use it for advertising or marketing of any kind.

Anyone who would like to review, correct, or have removed the personal information this journal holds about them, or who has any other question about this statement, may contact the editors at editor@glossacontact.org.
